This ride includes diverse scenery with breathtaking ocean views, sweeping grasslands, and cultivated gardens. We ride alongside rare exotic fruit trees, banana groves, coconut orchards and fishponds. Meander along the cooling waters of the Lower Hamakua Ditch, over 100 years old and now protected as a historical landmark on the property. “Talk Story” with your wranglers about the history and landscape of this traditional ahupua’a (Hawaiian land division) where sugar cane thrives, cattle graze, and horses roam.

-This is an active tour; all guests must be in good health to participate.
-We recommend wearing long pants, long sleeve shirts, and closed toe shoes. Bring a wind breaker, rain jacket, or poncho. Weather may change quickly and without warning.
-This is a beginner’s tour. No running, trotting, or cantering allowed.
-We accommodate kids 7 & up.
-200 lbs. weight limit. Please call us if you are over the weight limit and we may be able to accommodate you.
– Strict 48-hour cancellation policy. We do not refund for last minute cancellations for any reason, this includes sudden sickness, rental car troubles, flight changes, different island location, etc.

Yes! Our small group format is ideal for solo travelers, and you’ll meet other riders along the way. However, please keep in mind that we do require a minimum of 2 riders for a tour to go out.
